I work in NPG which maintains the tools and pipelines that extract and analyse data from the sequencing machines as well as performing various ad hoc tasks requrested by customers. I have helped to maintain and develop tools in perl, python, C and go, as well as building and maintaining the ci we use for building the conda packages that we rely(ed) on for our production pipelines. Most of my work on this is in my work github.

I have also added code to our Illumina and PacBio pipelines which provides iRODS (data storage) data paths in the Multi-Lims Warehouse (MLWH) making it easier to find the data that a person is looking for.

I provided information and guidance for students (the 2020-21 cohort of MSc Bioinformatics students, i.e. the cohort after mine) during practical sessions, helping them to consolidate the information that they had gained during their lectures.

I also marked coursework that the students had written, providing fixed versions of their code where necessary, and returned those marks to the lecturer for moderation.
